Kingside Consulting is a one-person practice. The audit, the build and the design come from me. There's no account manager to bill for, no subcontracted engineer, and no handoff where the person who understood your workflow stops being the person writing the code.
01
Nothing gets built before there's a written case for building it. If you only ever buy the audit, the audit still has to be worth what you paid.
02
If the right answer is a feature you already pay for and aren't using, that's what the report says. It costs me a build and buys the only thing worth more.
03
Fixed, in writing, no hourly billing and no change orders inside an agreed scope. If a project runs long, that's my problem, not a second invoice.
04
Spending ceilings, human sign-off gates, full audit trails, least access. Built in from the start, not bolted on after something goes wrong.
This is a new practice, and I'd rather say so than manufacture a client list. What isn't new is the method: the guardrails, the report format and the fixed-fee structure were built and tested before I brought any of it to a paying client — on my own operations first.
The practical effect for an early client is that you get more of my attention than you'd get from a firm, at a price that reflects the stage. The audit is deliberately cheap and deliberately independent of everything after it. Read the report, then decide.
Regulated environments are where audit trails and sign-off gates stop being nice ideas and become the reason a system is usable at all. Senior living operators run more software than ever and get less out of it — census, care, billing and marketing in systems that don't talk. That's a systems problem, and it's fixable in weeks.
The fix connects to the stack you already run. Nothing gets torn out to justify a bigger invoice.
Nothing I build makes a clinical, legal, tax or regulatory determination. It moves information to the people who do.
Your data isn't used to train anything, and it doesn't leave the systems we agreed on.
Monthly fees are offered after something exists to maintain. Never upfront, never a condition of the audit.
A walk through your tools — not a sales call. Worst case you get a second opinion on what's already working.
